I was highly disappointed this morning when I was about to make a fresh cup of coffee from my Braun coffeemaker. It’s a habit I got. The brewer refused to function as it did for almost three years. The power light turns on but the heater doesn’t work as well as the water doesn’t run from the tank. I’m just wondering if this is the maximum life span of this machine. I wish that it could have last longer. The thing here is, the warranty is only good for one year. A three-year warranty could have been the best as I can get a replacement unit with no cost for me except for the shipping.

I’m aware that most Cuisinarts have this kind of 3-year warranty. Unfortunately, I didn’t give much thought about its durability. This Braun KF590 has been working conveniently giving me a delicious coffee every time. It guarantees you a hot coffee that surely stays hot. It comes with easy to maintain features and replaceable Braun Brita filter that improves the coffee flavor. Setting aside the great results it brought to me when it was functioning; I doubt if I should highly recommend this product to anyone. I’m not claiming that everyone’s Braun will break down after using it for about three years, but, I’m just giving this review for any prospective buyer to know how it worked for me. You can check the reviews of other filters and see if this will be worth for your money.

I have a similar story… My Braun KF580, also only 3 years old, just stopped making great coffee. Last week I put the same amount and type of coffee I typically use in the pot and the result was a weak and bland flavor. I cleaned the pot twice according to directions but the flavor has not improved.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
laura

Our 12 year old Braun just quit this morning, so 3 years is not a limit on life. My wife is out shopping for a new Braun coffee maker as I write this. In my opinion Braun is a quality device.

In 1989 were given a Braun Coffee maker as a Wedding gift. This coffee maker(made in Germany) has never missed a beat. We called my aunt and uncle on our 20th to thank them again for the wonderful coffee maker. The next one will also be a Braun. THANK YOU BRAUN.
We hope to make it another 20years!
